Howzit gents
So I sold my 320d a couple of months ago with only one thing in mine. 3.0D!
After 5 weeks of being without a car, I came along an add on Autotrader without pics. I don't normally look at adds without pics but decided to phone the guys.
After a week we went down to Cape Town to fetch our new wheels.
Upon arrivals
Drive back home was amazing. I enjoyed the 3.0d power alot and the car just sits around corners.
When we arrived back home, I saw that the cold side boost pipe leaked, so I ordered some parts - new seals for hot and cold side, reverse globe and boot lock button.
Lekker for me I can do this now(obviously still at a slow speed):fencelook::
O and the M badge is also gone. Wife doesn't want me to remove the sides, so please don't kill me.
Paid my SW in Nov but never got a chance to go to Keithan and get it done.
So this weekend I decided it has to be done before I go to Cape Town month end.
Stopped at Powerflow Randburg to get my downpipe sorted. I really wanted to try
TMSS but I'm still waiting for my quote.
I told the guys to leave the polishing. Had a Rogue dp in my 320d that was polished and no one including me cared. Not as if a polished weld makes your car quicker.
As long as the inside is fine, I'll be happy!
After my DP was fitted, I went through to Uncle Keithan at RK Motion to sort my SW.
My instructions was loud and clear. I'm not going to put the car on a dyno, I want the car to be quick on the road! So I have no idea what the car made before dp, and I don't now what it makes at this stage.
Keithan done just that! He made the car 530d fast on the road!
The launch with awd is just insane! The car revs way to fast for my thinking(can be seen in the videos that I'll be loading tonight.
The extra hot peri peri in with my exhaust tone :blowheart: magtig this thing sounds lekker!
We have a few other plans with the car. Just need to get time and we will sort that out. Parts that bought but not yet fitted, paint work also needs some love.
