Well done "NELLA" you did well. cars moving regardless for a basically stock platform. only more good things to come from this thats for sure........

when you ready to get your 13.5 lemme know ill come teach you :) even @JodyD was surprised with his car.
Thanks buddy appreciate it.
Remember that everything is stock on this car. Stock clutch, gearbox, motor, turbo, bmw badges, cup holders, alles, so once we turn it up, you'll see another 10sec drop in time.

Jeez @Cornel, this X3 FUXOFF:shocked::shocked::shocked::shocked::shocked::shocked::shocked::shocked:

Very interested to see what power it made after the mods.

How do you manage to launch so well?

Thanks man

Launch is due to the x-drive. I cant drive for shit so my car is mapped to do everything :roflol:

So my car went back to the panelshop to sort my mirrors as well as the holes for the number plate.

I'm busy sorting my number plates with rear earth magnets so that i can enjoy this look at events.

Goodness...sleeper vibes here. I am curious what your consumption is in town and open road? And with map has it improved or gotten worse?

Buddy to be honest with you, I haven't really filled it up and check the consumption. I normally just fill and go. Can't control myself to do a consumption run.
But it did improve after the file! As well as my robot time:fencelook:

So I raced my Mechanics M5 this weekend for fun!

He fucked me up proper but it was still nice to see how my car compares against a 313wkw car.

Nice Cornel, that V10 is a screamer, but the Mommy van put up a good fight.

Just a little more training, who knows...

Still flying for a diesel powered family SUV...

That X-Drive launch will catch lots of "boy racers" off guard

:bravo:

I’d like to run a few cars on the road and check how it goes

Little update

Did something that I never thought I will but also angry that I didn't do it sooner.

Moved over to Madness Motorsport.

So my requirements to Madness was to get the car quick off the line and strong on top. I wanted someone that can log my car and see whats going on. Coming from a petrol background, that's what we did. I've been looking at their dyno sheets for a long time.
The way the power comes in and the way the car keeps torque for atleast 1000rpm. This means the car should pull smooth and that you will be back in the power range when shifting.
So I called Alex and arranged for my car to be done.

My car was done within a few hours with logging and changing the file where they needed to.

All I can say is WOW!
Exhaust tone is way deeper with louder turbo sounds. Map switching is on. So Eco is like factory, Comfort is 20%, Sport & Sport+ is between 30-35% more or less. My gear changes improved a lot with the smoother file. Feels like factory or even better. My wife enjoys the car more as she says it's smooth. Said that when i push the car she can feel how she gets sucked into the sat with every change. Will still load xhp when that becomes available.
Enough with talk, lets let the videos talk.

Sound video

Me vs the M5.
I messed this one up as the car launches much harder now. Hand was behind the paddles so i shifted to 2nd on the pull off. But my car still did way better!

One of the Madness guys was in Kuruman so we hooked up for a few runs.

Here we waited for the slow M135i

My fuel consumption also improved a lot.

Car is seriously impressive man - I can't believe that SUV was in front of that hot hatch :bravo:

Without turning this into a tuner war, what made you switch tuners? Feel free to PM/WhatsApp me if you prefer to discuss, just curious.. Again, Well Done!! :clapper:

Thanks buddy! Yes the car pulls very nice now! Can’t wait for the next event(that i can attend) to see what’s up.

Yeabo not going to turn it into a tuner war thing. Think I pretty much summed everything up on what i wanted with my tune.

Damn Cornel...

Madness really worked some magic there...

Well done guys
:bravo:

Yes buddy they did! Logging and checking that your boost and fuel comes in right and stays right! That’s what’s making this car perform the way it does
