The car should be at the plant today...

They called me yesterday and told me the car is going in today.

I haven't received any news yet...

Hi M_Diesel

Did you buy the M135i from Supertech? Do you know that they have their own panelshop? What if your car was damaged at the dealership
and repaired? I find it odd for an imported car from a BMW factory to be sent through to SA with these flaws. Even looking at the photos on Facebook, you can notice the colour differences and misaligned panels at first glance (the roof antenna being the worst), it doesnt need any magnifying glass to notice them, and I was shocked to say the least.

With having an on site shop, they may have done a quick fix, hence the misaligned panels, without telling you that the car was damaged out of fear of losing the sale. Maybe it fell off the trailer, who knows, but these things can happen. I've been in there (Supertech panelshop) a few times, on one occasion I did see a new 335i having a rear quarter panel being replaced, so it can happen that maybe you car was damaged and repaired there? It was very strange to see a new car being cut and made me cringe a bit to think it was going to be bought by someone else.

Just something to consider????

Oh that's rich, nice way to "score one for the team" without checking facts.

They said the Titanic was unsinkable too.

The first step on the path to sucess is to recognise where you have failed but yeah....whatever

Hey, ok just came back from Rosslyn and the guys say they cant take me to the inspection booth where i think the M135i is, they said it also might have gone to the VDC as they have experts there.

What i did find out is that the MD of BMW SA has moved offices from Midrand to Rosslyn as they are having serious complaints of faulty cars from the Rosslyn plant but only on the 3 series hmmmmmmmm

My buddy works at BMW bruma and said that they are getting a whole lot of F30's coming back to the dealership with various issues, I suspect the plant is pushing out orders and are neglecting on the quality of the assembly.
