Hi Everyone,

I just bought an m5 f10, i was wondering if anyone could give me more or less average dyno figures that these cars make up in gauteng ? (2013)

Is JB stage 1 worth it and what kind of wheel gains should you expect from it ?

What kind of power could you expect from downpipes on these cars ?

Any info would be appreciated :) i have heard and hoping you can get about 600whp ?

Have a look at this thread - https://www.bmwfanatics.co.za/showthread.php?tid=79325

Apparently this guy is going JB4 now, so not sure if stage 1 is worth it, although it will give you the 600whp you are hoping for.

It’s massive power for us normal folk, but I think you’ll always have that idea in the back of your head that you should’ve gone JB4.
As Ferdi states - I am upgrading my JB1 with the JB4 - it's already ordered, together with the BCM (boost control module)! Whereas the JB Stage1 might give you the same absolute boost and subsequent power increase as the JB4, it's the manner how it delivers the boost increase that is different. JB1 is additive (+4psi max.), irrespective of load, rpm, pedal position, gear etc. This can cause issues when boost doesn't hit target at low rpm, high engine load. JB4 take all these parameters and more from the Canbus into account to give a smoother power delivery. As an added bonus one can add the Burgermotorsport BCM (boost control module) to the JB4 which controls the wastegates directly and what I hear is that this is a game changer (as if the present power isn't enough)! So, JB1 is very effective but I strongly recommend the JB4 for the reasons mentioned above.
