This is not BMW saying look our M3 is faster than a Macan Turbo. Its an independent group testing a drag race that may happen on everyday roads. I found it interesting. I wouldn't call it silly. As a petrolhead I am surprised you wouldn't enjoy it for what it was. Not what it isn't.

OK - I'll agree it has some interest, so maybe you're right.
My issue is really around the persistent dilution of a cars worth by 0-100 comparos.

Petrolheads love cars in general. Maybe BMWs in particular here, but still cars in general.
