BMW M2 or Porsche 718

So I just read a review on the new Porsche Boxster (718) 2.5T. It makes around 257kw and 420nm (0-100 in 4.2) and for almost exactly the same price as a BMW M2 - R870k. I've never before looked at a boxster because living in Gauteng the NA cars are a bit asthmatic. Now with a turbocharged boxster around, it is really looking like a good buy.

What do you guys think? M2 or Boxster

Hence my point. One cant base the argument on the cheapness/cost of entry level cars, else no one would buy them.
As an example: Why did you then buy a 318i and not a 200Is, based on the argument of cost?

If I could afford a "real" porsche, I would buy one... Thats kinda like saying, dont buy the M135, as its not a real ///M car... At the time, the M135 was the only thing resembling an ///M I could afford and it was a damn good non M M car.

I drove my uncle's Boxster S, If I compare it to my car (E82 135i) I prefer the drive of my car and prefer the interior of the porsche
