BMW M135i Oil Leaks

Hi Guys
Discovered oil stains and oil drops at my parking.
Checked the level of the oil and it was 1 pint short so filled it at the garage.

Took the car to bmw for assessment and they said it was leaking from the following places

Tappet cover
oil filter
vanos seals leaking

any idea why so many leaks?

Car got stage 2 and down pipe?

Did they steam clean the engine and look for leaks or was it their assumption?The oil filter housing does kak out, I had the issue on my wife's f30. I have also noticed that the tappet cover is sweating out oil. But it has not affected the normal oil usage in any way. :thumbs:

they just sent a quote for R16k :skit: and said it needs to be replaced.

My F30 335i was leaking too, BMW did a new Oil pump as well as filter housing IIRC, etc. Never a problem since. IIRC it was around R18k on motorplan prices..
