BMW F30 - Sheer driving pleasure until 110km/h

So after my 2013 320i went in for a service in Mid March I started hearing a loud humming sound from the front left wheel as I exceeded 110km/h

The vehicle went in 6 times to the dealership - Wheel balancing and wheel alignment were done, the wheel bearings were checked and I had brand new tyres fitted as the dealer insisted the tyres were causing the noise. I had the regional manager look at the car during the last visit and had to take the car in to have some rubber grommets fitted to the belly pan around mid June which made no difference to the situation. I was then advised that a new belly pan will be ordered. Over the past 8 weeks the ETA for the part was changed 3 times and after querying again yesterday I was informed that they not sure when the part will arrive. I have been driving the vehicle for 5 months now with this annoying sound.
I wrote to BMW SA twice and received absolutely no feedback.

I did not expect this from a company like BMW - more than 50days and still no date for a engine floor cover.

The F30 may just be the last BMW I own due to the pathetic service from BMW. :thumbdo:

Here's a clip of the humming sound

Video of humming sound

Not sure what else to do except wait for the cover. :argh:

My F30 also hums on the right hand side intermitently ...I just drive it like that...with the radio loud.

I had a similar issue with my E90 about 2 years ago....it went back to BMW 5 times ....in a space of 2 weeks,....so I'd rather drive the humming F30.

Mine went away by itself. I must add. That they did do wheel alingment. i have checked my tyres now and I must say they are not so much featherd on the outside edges like they were when I had the humming noise
Who knows might have been that. But then again they did put my back tyres to the front and it was the same hum. They did fit a new cars tyres and rims on my car, and in that time the noise was gone just to test it out. So I really don't know what was the actual cause. I think it can only be tyres wheel allingment or some airflow over or through the engine covers.
