BMW SA does nothing but waste time in "investigating the situation and will come back to you" bull crap, go straight to the dealer princple and let loose, advise him you will be taking this up further, its the reason the have people called dealer principles

Nivern has helped alot of people on this forum with very good deals including myself.
I believe we are all human and we tend to make mistakes. If a mistake was made that the dealer agent did not see we cannot go calling him an arsehole. Sorry sir i made a mistake this is the real figures can we do a deal or not on the new figure. Either a yes or walk out....

i think its only fair that i get to say my side of the story , please note that this is in no dissrespect to skiet ( dieter nel ).
guys its was my fault as i miscalculated the figures and it was no fault of skiet and i take full responsibility of what happend.
gents i am human and im not a machine i make mistakes but i do own up to them , i did try and save the deal with skiet but he was beyond 'pissed of' and i can understand his fustration.
to skiet i am sorry about the whole mess up it was my fault from start to finish and i just want to apologise to you in public infront of all the forum memebers that are here.
gents some of you know me personally and you know i will go out of my ways for the forum memebers and i have proved it on more then 1 occassion.
just a run down of what happen , i miscalculated the settlement amount from BMW FINANCE where the shortfall on R14000.00 came in, keep in mind that i gave skiet a 12% discount of the new 335i so i was already making a lost on the deal, i then brought the shortfall down to R9000.00 because i gave him another R5000.00 , but it was my fault that i did not notify him about the difference, also i honor my word in giving him a towbar and smash and grab free of chance which infcat came to R12500.00.
again if i upsetted anyone in anyway i apologise and skiet i hope that you can forgive me and we can still be friends , to all the guys out there that supported me , much appreciated and if your ll ever need anything i will surely do my best to assist your ll
there is 1 thing that i didnt like , is to be called an 'asshole' many of you dont know what happened and the reason for me posting here is to apologise to skiet, and then to be called names isnt fair....but water under the bridge....

I actually bought my 520d from Lyndhurst auto and had a similar out of body experience just before I signed my contract when I used my phone to calculate numbers vs what was on the sheet.
The F&I said she was supplied the numbers by the salesguy, so I said, well call him in.
He then said, oh, I thought that we agreed this and that blah blah blah.
I said no, you know what we agreed and I have emails to prove. The F&I saved his arse and said what should the numbers me, which I pointed out, she asked the salesguy if he agreed, which he now did. She reprinted and I signed.
Unfortunately, it seems everyone is out to make a buck, so you have to be Dragon-den like about numbers and Ts and Cs these days.
You have to Trust but Verify.
I applaud the salesman here for saying he ballsed up, many don't even admit to being at fault.

thanks guys , like i said im not here to screw the guys , im here to help where ever i can , being it giving all the discount from the vehicle and not making a cent of the transaction in the end , i gain a customer that i know i can do business with in the future:thumbs:
