BMW F30 320i vibration at 100kmh +

Hi all,

I bought a nice F30 320i. I noticed that the car vibrates at high speeds 100kmh+ especially cruising at 130-140kmh. I can feel it in the car and also in the seats almost like a back vibration massage. Could this be due to wheel balancing \ tyres \ bend mag wheel or maybe something else

Hi,

Usually if you feel it in the seat then it is the rear axle, could be bent rims or tyres, would start there, get it on a lift and check that first.

It might be wheel balancing or buckled up mags, check that first before checking your drivetrain.

I highly suspect wheel balancing.

Thanks will take it to the dealer to sort out, Can also feel some vibration in the steering wheel. I have noticed it get worse when you of the accelerator going downhill..
