BMW E93 roof problem

Hi all. I'm new to the site, i have a problem that i need help with, i have e93 which was accident damaged on the left front and that caused the left rear anti roll over bar to deploy, which dislodged the rear left side of the rear glass and caused the roof to disengage so it's not locked into position, i have not tried anything yet as i am not too familiar with these cars and don't want to make the situation any worse.
Is there anyone who can advise how i get this sorted? Or someone i can speak to or go see about this problem?
Any help or advise would be so very much appreciated!
I will try post picture.
Thanks in advance.

bud,

You should be insured, if so, take it straight to a BMW center, what you stuff with now, you may break, and the stuff is not cheap.

Has the car been repaired at all or are you driving a damaged car?

Hi, am what people call rebuilder, i find these abused and often damaged bmw's, and try to rehabilitate them back to health, so I'm busy repairing the front end right now. I have never had any dealings/experience with convertibles so just looking for any info on independent specialists that anyone has dealt with in the past that i should consult before i try my local stealer !
Thanks and regards!

Well,

In that case, you should be able to figure it out yourself provided you have decent diagnostic equipment available.

Something as simple as a damaged limit switch or a motor sensing too much resistance can drive you insane, so you really need to talk to the computer when looking at it.

Once you know, it becomes simple mechanics.

Nope,

I cant say I do.

With the diagnostics, if your going to spend money, id rather go for the latest version of INPA with the associated cables.

BMW scanner 2.0 sucks a bit, quite unstable...
