One suggestion though, why not make this a general E34 registry?

So noted. Note the revised thread title. So all e34 drivers please list your car.

Yea I agree, the E34 is a gorgeous beast, regardless of model.

Oh, and finding happy tree friends in your winamp playlist while trying to work at a client is bad for production...

No updated photos just yet Uber. Quite a bit of work is going into the 540i first.

I also have not taken new photos of the E34 with the wheels, I shall do so next weekend...

It never rains but pours on my side, we ripped out a bathroom out of my parents place this weekend, and baught all the new bits, so guess I am playing plumber for the next two weekends, its kewl though, I enjoy plumbing..

It's difficult with a 5 week old baby in the house. This weekend I have managed to wash one car, pick up a few goodies from Rick, and mow the lawn... and that is it. Other than that it's all about the baby.

Apart from a fender polish (just to see what it will look like), I did not get any chance to work on the 5er.

But that is what is awesome about a project car, you dont have to work on it :)

But seeing pics of your E36, that 5 is going to be a jawdropper too

Ta LZ. I am a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to my cars. I will probably end up spending more money on the e34 than what i can get for it, but it's all good.

Carel - 1995 540i Manual Individual. She's got just over 92 000km's and only does some driving on Fridays (to work and back) or occasional long distances over weekends. She's Madeira black (actually a dark purple) and has silver/white interior with dark almost black wood trimming. Other than the stainless exhaust, white indicator lenses and removed boot spoiler, she's stock std.

Will post pics, or have a look in my thread under showroom.

LOL!! do you know how many people have asked me that...? and the answer is yes, i did. I was starting to get worried that everybody knew something about the car that i didnt.... and that was why it stood there for so long waiting for a buyer..... i landed up paying 65k for the car. Think i paid too much? and is there a history that maybe i dont know about? seems cheap to me... and i know what the M5's go for, but i'm not sure about the values of the 540i/6.

Your car is actually more rare than an e34 M5, because of the limited numbers. In good condition,, they are worth a fair amount. I would say 65k is a fair price.

I doubt you should worry. As long as it has fsh. People who buy ltd editions normally look well after them. But it was for sale for a long time. People just don't have the moolah. My 2 cents worth...
