BMW 325i E46 Decat Help

Hello guys

I'm back in South Africa and here to stay , unfortunately , but fortunately I still have my beauty .

So here's what happened , My Birthday past and I've got a bit of spare money lying around . R1000 to be exact and was wondering what I can do with it and then I thought . My beauty needs to make a louder noise

Where should I go for a Decat ? And is it possible to change the exhaust tip on my car as it has no chrome cover and looks , not great , was hoping I could get a Big Round Black one . Help please . I'm situated in Pretoria .

Dude if you have a dual exhaust then fitting other tailpipes is a mission, ask me.
It took the guy almost 3 hours to figure out how to make a side facing pipe between the box and the tailpiece, because as soon as its a bit to big, you cant fit them straight.
Where in pretoria are you exactly?? then maybe we can meet and you can see what i mean on my car, and then decide on something for your car. :thumb:

Its hard to say cause every place will charge you differently.
Cocerning the cats, you can just cut out the ones in the pipes and have them replaces with straight pipes, the ones in the branches is way more tricky cause you need to fool the computer that they still there, so I left the ones in the branches and only did the ones in the pipes.
Concerning the tailpieces, first see mine, and what was done, then decide to buy tailpieces and fit them, cause its ALLOT of work. I am off tomorrow, only working nightshift, so any time after 08:00 is fine to meet, I stay in Rietfontein.

Decat (in exhaust) with straight pipes = R600

Exhaust tips (Stainless Steel) from PowerFlow = R500 fitted. Not more than 1.5 hours to do. Heres a pic

Just not sure if theres a powerflow there. PS u can go bigger. Then its R600

Kartik, if you like what Chris is suggesting then go that route, I did the decat where they cut out the cats and replace them with straight pipes for R300, R150 each.
I then baught a set of after market tailpipes I liked and fitted them, that cost me R200, R100 each, I think there is a pic of the back of my car here: http://www.bmwfanatics.co.za/showthread.php?tid=8518&page=5
Meeting after 15:30 is going to be hard, cause its kids fetch from school, them mommy from work, then off to karate class for them, then off to karate class for me, and then off to work at 21:00, unless you wanna swing by my office for coffee and to have a look then.

I also fitted straight pipes Cois. Think PowerFlow probably just charged a bit more than the other places. But u can definately get a decat at any exhaust specialist. But if Cois can help u personally Karthik then let him help u.

Guys thanks for the help and to Coisman for assisting me , the Decat has been done and I should be getting my new tailpieces tomorrow . Car is pulling awesomely and sounds just right . Not too loud but perfect at the top end .
