BMW 320i F30 remap/power upgrades

Hi Guys,

apologies if this this subject has been posted before

I'm looking to upgrade my BMW E90 320D to a BMW320i F30

am getting a part ex deal but drove the BMW320i on the weekend and it was just ... erm ..dull

to be fair My E90 320D has a custom customs exhaust, decat and remap so it does literally have some serious low end torque (all done by Superchips - who were super helpful)


anyways I'm interested in the 320i F30 but need to know what are the options for me to increase the power, Im based in Malawi so I will bring the car to RSA to have any work done there (as with previous car)

Hi bud

There's a few options available, if you don't wanna take any chances with motor plan, I know that there's a ACS power kit available :thumbs:

It's pricey but well worth it if you value your motor plan :thumbs:

Thing is though that you can't compare the low down torque of a diesel to a petrol.
But with the ACS upgrade etc the car will be a lot better. Do a search as there's a forum member who's already done this on the 320i with a nice writeup after the ACS software etc.

I'm sure you will be happy with the outcome if you decide to go with the F30 320i.

firstly thanks for the prompt response , I'm in a tricky one motorplan is not valid in Malawi - we have 1 credited BMW service centre but that doesnt cover us on warranty etc issues , the rest are non official BMW mechanics

I read up on the ACS tuning package on this forum , very interesting and VERY expensive

just out of curiosity what are the other options and any ideas who I can speak to

if all fails Il probably settle for the safer option with ACS

There are a few tuners in the country that can remap the F30's :thumbs:

Check with the tuners that advertise on the forum :thumbs:
