BMW 2000 E46 318i diff knock

I have had some knocking coming from the drive train and took the vehicle in to Reynolds and they replaced a bush. They then told me the noise is coming from one of the drive shafts. I took the vehicle then to Drive & Align who replaced more bushes. The noise is not gone and fear it could be coming from the diff.

My question is does anyone know of a reputable diff specialist in the Western Cape. I am in the southen suburbs but happy to travel a bit if I am going to get good advise and service.

Firstly welcome to the forum....as for your problem...have you checked the diff bush as well? Also i would not go to Reynolds(Retreat) as i've had bad xperiences with them in the past by them telling me what's the problem with the car but it turns out they were always wrong...yes always...by telling me a certain part needs replacing but then turns out it doesn't:bangdesk:
Bruce spares in Kenilworth did my diff bush a while back and i was happy with them...give them a call
