steering rack thrust bushing kit for f25

Good day all

I have 2011 bmw x3 35i and have some play in the steering aswell as knocking when moving the steering wheel from side to side when the vehicle is stationery.I have done some research and found that there is a thrust bushing kit fix available for this problem which can be purchased from fcp euro.
Does anybody have this issue and did you perhaps use the thrust bushing kit to repair it, who would you recommend as a reputable bmw specialist that can do the replacement for me.thanking you all in advance.

Hey bud,
BMW sells the kit as well and it is well priced too. The replacement is a metal part which you replace where the original is plastic. check it out

Bud, you can get it fitted at Xcede in Cape Town as well, basically a workshop to fit the part but you can get the part from any BMW

Garage808 also know how to fit this. They didn’t f25 x3 and made the world of difference. Highly recommend.
