Nobody here has told you how to park mate. Its just a simple fact if you park over 2 bays you may as well paint a target on your car, because somebody will get upset, so why take the chance ?

I went to the mall in the Z4M today, and I simply parked in an empty part of the parking lot. If I also parked over two bays, I am almost 100 percent sure somebody would have gotten upset, because they would think I was arrogant!

Just park far away, in a single bay, simple!
The lazy people won't be prepared to park far away, so you'll be safe.
As much as I love my car, I wouldn't park in 2 bays "because I can"

This was ridiculous. The white car was parked extremely close to the Pilar on its right, probably to prevent any damage. It was an old couple, they were so stressed, what a shame. As much as I would have liked to see some revenge, it's not the Cars fault the driver is that way. He will get his payback, one day.

Security had to move the van, I had no idea they even had devices as can be seen in the pic. It's a trolley with wheels that lock on the vehicles wheels and can be rolled in any direction.

That is sad to see that happen to old people. Once again, knobs in bakkies causing sht. Also didn't know they could move cars like that. Those tools could be dangerous in the wrong hands

The pic doesn't do justice. The bakkie was not parked in, so the back was jutting out.

That's just inconsiderate!! Nothing else.

Im sure a lot of us here park as close to a pillar/wall, me included, to avoid our cars being damaged but also to allow the next person as much room as possible.

Regarding those tools, most of the US car shows on Discovery use those for moving cars around the workshops.

I have also seen them quite recently in the Paddock on Moto GP, so there is something similar for moving the bikes around too.

Empty parking or full you should not be parking a car like that.

The lines are there for a reason.
