Hi guys,

I wanted to know which is the best place and reasonable to service diesel cars around JHB? My car is out of MP now and will need to know where to go from here onwards.

Thanks

For a basic service the dealerships are not too badly priced either. However,if you're in need of some repairs and other work beyond the service, rather go to a good independent workshop.

+1! Believe it or not, some of the independents quoted me more then the dealership for an oil change. So i stick to the dealerships for the basic services..

Still take mine to the dealer for normal services. Prices are not bad at all.

Only when it comes to replacing, brakes, and other stuff that is when they nail you. These items you can diy or give to an independent.

If you're not into DIY then take it to Gizmo, he's in alberton and knows those cars backwards. The service is simple. He could even spot something that's out of place and gives good advice. Support the forum
