Update: mechanically the car is now close to perfect. The cambelt was replaced, all other drive belts, fluids, filters etc. Brake fluid and clutch hydraulics flushed and replaced, coolant flushed and replaced. A/C leak checked and re-gassed, it now blows cold air like a fridge can't. I even replaced the antenna with an OEM electric antenna.

The interior required very little work, we just waxed the leather and cleaned the carpets.

On the outside, I started with a good polish using Meguires Condition as a start. I need to finish it off with a good polish and wax, but here are some pictures of the end result.

Don't worry, it will stay safely locked in my garage, unless I take it for a drive on Sundays.

Thanks for all the compliments. I will be selling it some time soon, maybe I should hold an auction amongst the fanatics who expressed interest in buying it?

Even when I brought it home on a trailer looking very dusty and sad, I had two random offers to buy it from people who saw it at the traffic light stops.
