Hi All

Going on Honeymoon to Bali with a 1 night stay in Singapore, looking at booking with Singapore Airlines, 2 nights in Upud (Visit the Rice fields etc), 4 nights in Nusa Dua and 1 night in Marina Bay sands in Singapore

Any Advice from those that have been there?

Congrats!

Have not yet been to Bali... but absolutely love Singapore!

Marina Bay Sands is stunning, and the view from up top is frikkin amazing.

1 day is probably way too short, but Singapore is small enough for you to get a feel for the place...

Santosa Island isn't a bad visit - but probably not Honeymoon material - and probably not first choice for a 1 day visit.

Orchard Towers isn't a bad visit - but probably not Honeymoon appropriate!!!!!

The Gardens by the Bay is really cool, and close to the Marina Bay, as is the Singapore Flyer...

And there's the Esplanade and Marina area where there are some nice bars and places to go check out (night lifey)...

If you want to have a laugh, there's a Karaoke bar underneath in Chijmes... had a huge laugh there!

Anyways.... Singapore has lots on offer.. quite a lot more than 1 day would allow you...

Any Advice from those that have been there?

Marina Bay sands is AWESOME! We spent a night there en route to Sydney when they first opened, it was INCREDIBLE... but will be even better now as they have finished the whole area surrounding the hotel. China town is a must - and maybe even take a trip on the red bus (hop on hop off) - just going down Orchard Road is mind blowing!!

Bali is fantastic - people are so nice - Ubud is like totally zenned out (despite being very busy with tourists) - there is just so much to see... culturally, it's nice to see a show in Ubud. We did a bicycle tour (no hills) - very interesting and something different. Nusa is very vibey and alive - if you are a good scooter driver and very alert in traffic then hire one, great fun but be careful! beautiful resorts, not cheap as it's all in US$ but YOLO!! Check out tripadvisor as they have lots of honest reviews.

I just got back from Singapore and Bali a week ago. Both those places are awesome

In Singapore I stayed at Orchard Parade which is in Orchard road. Orchard road is where you will find all your branded stores etc..

Like the guys mentioned above, marina bay etc.. is really stunning. Try and go for the lights show during the evening, really amazing

Bali was nice and chilled, I stayed at Nikko hotel in Nusa Dua, very nice

There is one thing I should be telling you, make sure you take enough sunblock the heat is a scorcher.

In Bali you should go to the Bali collection, some nice stores to shop from

Lots to see and do in Singapore, pop into Sim Lim square, for all sorts of electronics, orchard road has tons of malls , Sentosa island also cool , but you won’t get out there on a day visit
