Badge thieves...

Both badges stolen again ffs. This is the 3rd time my car is left badgeless. Yes, 3 times.
I have spoken to our security co, they have 2 patrols on the premises every night and no-one knows anything.
Have any of you resulted to glueing your badges down? Silicone or epoxy? My only concern with glued badges is the damage they will leave behind after attempting to wedge a screwdriver in to pop it off.

Anything short of sleeping in the car to catch the bastid. I'm so tired of it. Think I won't be getting new badges any time soon. Sucks.

Stick them on with velcro and remove them when you park the car

Not just badges Chef, some garages were ransacked a few months back. My garage is now alarmed, my house isn't. Not as in 'worried', but as in a doos-loud siren when forced open.
I have to do a 5-point turn to get the car is so sometimes I park off the street, under my balcony. the preimeter is lit but the f***ers still manage to steal stuff.
Management lives on the top floor and shows me his empty bucket of f***s whenever I complain. Some ppl...:RedNo:

Badge stolen the 1 week I received my car, never thought of the price factor after i was presented with the invoice. I glued mine down with Q-BOND solid stuff.

The badge at the back i scan see some1 tried taking it off all they ever did was loosen the silver surrounding around the badge, That day i decided to not tip any car guard now and in the future, i would always walk around my car to check for any side nicks from cars parked to close to me, you just cant depend on anyone to look after your stuff, especially complex security and car guards at our malls in CPT.

the problem with gluing it is replacing a badge is one thing...someone damaging your car with a screw driver & repairing that is going to suck.

And there lies my dilemma...

After about 4 badges stolen from my boot and 2 from my bonnet i glued it down - Haven't noticed any damage and its been like that for about 8 months now.

My problem is that the back badge on my e46 is starting to fade and i have no idea how i am going to take it out and replace it

I smell a steakout with a Daisy gun (Excuse the pun) LOL

I had this problem with my A4, so I decided a Sh1t load of PLay Energy Drinks and I scoped out a spot were I could lay and wait, with abit of luck that he actually showed up, the bastit tried to take the Red T at about 1am and BOOM! Layed a few into his hands and one on the ear, and we also Caught the F***er.

Needless to say news spread quick and the (now my Wifes) A4 still has that very same red T on it :)

If I bond them down and skollies attempt to pry them off and cause body damage then I will have to fork out 2.5k excess. :hammerhead:
