Howzit my Beemer Buddies

Just a quick one .. still new to this Forum… I am deciding to get myself a pre owned E92 M-sport Coupe 320i, whats your takes on this one?
It’s a 2008 with 120000kms on the clock, black in colour, hows the fuel on these ones? Since its a 4 cylinder engine im sure it cant be too bad

Ill probably have it chipped and fit an exhaust cos surley there isn’t enough power on these things if u look at the power to weight ratio…
The car is selling for 160k, would really appreciate some good advice and feedback as this will b my 1st Beemer

Shot guys

great cars.....320i not bad if manual....Auto is sluggish...

Fuel is almost the same to the 323 and 325......The I6s will be lighter long distance....

If you not used to having power on tap then go for it.....

Great looking car.

But not the right engine.
I agree, really a sexy looking car... I wouldnt want a golf coming next to me and chowing me though as I do have a bit of a heavy leg .. what else do you suggest i do to increase power other than exhaust n chip

Price of the car is 160k......Exhaust and Chip lets say another 10k for a proper job....

You up to 170k on a car that will never be as powerful as a stock 325i....

You can pick up a nice 325 for around 170k and you can enjoy that BMW i6 feel and tone.

Remember there will always be a golf quicker than you

Hey buddy

The price is too much
I had. 2010 coupe and paid R179k
Great cars
Good fuel consumption

Also had it chipped - not too much of a gain
Nice for everyday driving

But take note I upgraded to the 335i coupe literally 6 months later

I have had mine for almost 3 years now, I have been to all over SA with that car and I am not complaining at all, great fuel consumption. Initially I thought would trade it in after two or three years, but I have changed my mind, I am not parting ways with my coupe any time soon :coolShake:
But if it is power that you are after, the 320 is probably not for you

On the coast it won't be *too* bad, but it's not a driver's car by any means.

Also, chip and exhaust will yield minimal gains, if any, on this car. You'd have to get into some serious mods to get some improvement, and by that time you'd be (much) better off buying a 325i.
