Not to much happening here just loving this car so much! Hands down best car Ive ever owned. Truly amazing

Decided to give her some love!

Friday went through to crazy detailer to pick up some needed supplies to start the wheel arch cleaning process.

Got stuck into the front over the weekend but didn’t have enough time to do the rear so will hopefully do it next weekend.

Upon inspection it seems this car was only cleaned on the outside which I guess is normal unless you have bad OCD.

So wheels removed and the cleaning process started.

Cleaning products used.

DNA APC
DNA IRON OUT

Ended up cleaning each side about 3 times overs to finally get it to a point I was somewhat happy. Still a lot more cleaning to do but all in good time

Doubt these wheels were ever cleaned

( note : face of rim isn’t touching the concrete )

After the 3rd attempt . Not perfect but a lot better

Then it was time to tackle the inner wheel arch. Both sides done

Again after the 3rd attempt started looking better. Still a lot more cleaning needs to be done!

Then it was time to give it a good weekly wash

Some foam loving

And finally ready for the week ahead!

Now that S3 of yours is what I'd call a unicorn. Loved it since I was a litey. We'll see if time allows for that.

And your 330i - seems more mint than some f30s on the roads. Great choice.

Decided it was time to change the front discs. I hate that over time they start to rust so went and got some high temp enamel paint and paint the hat part of the disc.

I must say It’s really starting to come together now.

Next up will be brake calipers. Will most likely go with a nice silver finish.

Painting the hub is a great trick, what paint did you use?

I used the Rust-o-leum paint for braai's and it worked wonders. About a year later I dont have any rust on my hubs!

Just can’t stand looking at rusted hubs
I used engine block enamel paint. Used it on my S3 previously and worked great!

Ah that’s good to know aswell!
