So the car is finished and Ashlin came to collect and allowed me to drive it.

A beast no less. Thank you Ashlin for the drive.

Fuel filter (had not been changed since 2006 when car was delivered)
Oil Filter
Oil
Plugs
Compression test
Valves set
Power steering hose
Power steering hose mounting rubbers
All front clips securing the wiring harness replaced
Power steering fluid flushed.
Coolant system flushed
Radiator cleaned and flushed
Vanos seals
Vanos rattle kit
Solenoid base plate seals
Oil pump re drilled
New bolts and loctite medium strength for cam gears
New bolts for hubs
Cams re aligned

Items checked and not requiring attention
Front Suspension
Prop couplings
Brake fluid
Brake pads

A very clean car that is in top notch condition with an OCD owner.

If it ever comes up for sale I have first dibs.

Great work Al1xander and Lysis. YOu guys really are amazing. True legends. I would like to talk to you about booking Jezebel in. ASAP.

I also would like to have my power steering hoses and clamps replaced.

I have a number of things I am replacing and would like to see how we can go about doing the work as the supercharger build starts in a few weeks. I want the car in top notch condition before we install the charger.

Yes I have collected the car from Peter and Alex. Ok first dibs is yours.

Now to the car
immediately after starting the car I noticed the revs were stable and a quieter engine. Peter took me for a spin around the block and the power response was immediate. The car feels so much better ,I drove it home on the N1 and just felt the real M Power. The bottom end response is immediate but the response at cruising speeds was very interesting, the 120 to 160 was effortless as it was previously alot of accelerator travel to achieve this. Later I was officially introduced to the M power today at the traffic light Loved that thrust into the seat feeling. More to come once im in the car longer.

Thank you for the time , effort and meticulous workmanship put into my car. To those of you on the forum that have not had the pleasure of meeting these guys, make the effort to use their services and you will leave there being a prouder and happier bmw driver with the ultimate peace of mind .

Fuel filter some 7 years old compliments of BMW motorplan....disgusting is the minimum and rip off more appropriate


Expensive holes on pump disc


New bolts and loctite for cam gears


New bolts for hubs...these bolts are typically not changed but the threads had been pulled on them by over tightening.
