Anyone went up against a Renault RS ?

Hi Guys,

Just wanted to know if any of you guys went up against this car in a TLGP or anything else !

There is a RS here at work with the owner being a really spirited driver - lotsa whoo haa about what he will do to a 335i (I have a 330i).

Just wanted some real life experiences.

Nah, he was convincingly faster than me, but I think a 335i will rape him...

It will be close with the 330i.

Be careful for those RS machines, when i went down to the Knysna Hill Climb i was with a couple and they really run well. A couple of them had FBO and they are impressive.

The new ones are quite quick..

they do well when modded as well..

i know of a few pushing over 200wkw win stage 1 form..

i dunno bout 335i off the line, but rolling will be interesting against stock 1..

x35i with sw will murder them as tested..

Nice power on the DYNOS but not on the road , I raced a modded one making 230wkw and the 330d still takes it. stock against stock 335 , hard to say but my money is on the 335 , software 335 will rape modded RS

It will most probably take down a 330i, based on the power to weight ratio. I owned the '05 Renault sport and it was very strong. The new RS is 185kw with 340nm. Now they launched the trophy which is a +10 on kw and nm.
These hatches can really do some damage especially when modded.

Went up against one when I still had my Subaru WRX and it stayed with me but I had the start advantage with the AWD. Ones we were going we stayed. The 335i wiped me from 3'rd gear on, from stand still.

RS has no chance. especially off the line.
