Hi, thought I would join as I recently bought my first BMW.

2011 E90 320i facelift

I see there are a few people that say the 320i is a mistake however I have no problem with it. Considering an exhaust upgrade and de-cat at the end of the month as well.

Recently put new rims/tyres on the car. 265x30x19 rears, 235x35x19 fronts with Schnitzer AC1 replica wheels which looks pretty good. All tyres are Goodyear Eagle F1's.

Anyways, I need to redo the brakes soon so any advice would be greatly appreciated

Welcome! I think you made a good choice, great fuel economy and good service prices. Car cruises well on the highway too.:clapper:

Hi buddy. Congrats on the car. I have the same car and I love it !!!

For me the best mods I did was to remove the runflats and remove the clutch delay valve (only applies to manuals). My shifts from 1-3 are much smoother and with the non runflats tyres it's a really nice ride. Keen to see more updates from you. Please let me know how the decay and new exhaust system goes I al also interested in doing something similar

Hi Buddy,
The oil consumption thing is real apparently pre 2011, so definitely do a thorough check before purchasing the car. That being said, I have owned a few Audi's and never encountered a days problem. (Still have 2.0 tdi A4) They great cars and way better than the 320i in terms of...... everything really /

Just spoke to my brother, he will send me all info soon

The engine was rebuilt at around 5000km just after he bought it brand new and since then all has been 100%. Only time oil gets touched is with services, my brother drives like Ms Daisy so the car hasn't been pushed at all.

Best is it's white with a lot of options one being panoramic sun roof and the leather is tan which I really like. He has had it since brand new and paid almost 460k for it when he bought it.

Best of luck with your decision, sounds like he checked all the boxes. Like all cars Preventative Maintenance is King. Whatever you decide to do hope it gives you miles of smiles.

are you going to keep the e90

I'll probably sell it once I know if I'm taking the A4. My brother doesn't want the hassle of selling it privately so he's going to take it to a few dealers to get a price and then I'll give him whatever the best offer is if I feel it is affordable to me.

Apparently retail is about 203k, market value around 170k and trade would be a bit less.

Can anyone help me with what I can expect to get for the car second hand? I'm thinking of selling soon

Rims cost me R9500 and tyres cost me R9500. Tyres have 90% tread left.

Also has a Parrot Bluetooth handsfree integrated in to the stock radio.

Car has 120 000km and is in very, very good condition
