After market air filter

Spray the oily stuff onto the inside pipe after the air filter and see how much dust it catches with the aftermarket filter.

Not trying to step on any toes or get into a fight here....

I understand all the reasoning behind the OEM filters....

but as an example:look at 'most' of the 20v toyota guys running g open throttles.

perhaps your OEM filters do work better....but surely with regular servicing using decent fluids... One shouldn't have any issues.

I had a corsa bakkie that saw the redline day in day out. K&N drop in filter for ~50k km...never oiled it once and that bitch never smoked a day in its life with me.

Why would the brand K&N(air filter) be so widely accepted as "good"....If it didn't do its job?
