Advice on the E91 touring

Recently I am just loving the E91 touring.

I am looking to buy one in the next few months.

Any issues with these cars?

Anything I need to know about them.

Looking at buying the 320i.

Not sure on the weight difference, but the biggest complaint about the 320i is the lack of power, especially the auto. The engine is fairly reliable with issues regarding valve stem seals on higher mileage ones.

big car, so the 320d will be better at lugging it around than the 320i. The diesel has way more torque and power, also way better fuel economy, and have proven itself as being very reliable if looked after.

Agreed, the 320d would be a much better option.

Remember, the E91 is heavier than an E90 (for obvious reasons). The 320 in E90 guise is just about as decent as it can get. In E91 it gets lethargic.

I drove a 320d E91 and it was decent. Im not sure of the driving style the previous owner adopted but for the trip from the previous owner, to the new owner it held its pace, overtook with ease and pulled through the N3 with ease. I was pretty impressed with it, tbh.

In sportpack, with a nice wheel and some low, you have a practical, show vehicle.

Edit to add: On collection, the consumption was on 10l/100km. Like i said, im not sure of the previous owners driving style. After the trip from GP to KZN, it averaged 6.2l/100km with a slightly heavy foot on the 550km.
