Advice on a 120d

I am looking to purchase a 120d E87.

Looking for advice on what to look for and what maintenance is required

what year model? if I'm not mistaken the E87 120d had 3 different engine variants, early 04 models had the M47 motor from the E46 320d, later but pre 2009 models had the N47 and was replaced by the N47T, the N47T would be the most reliable. .

ok great thanks, to be honest havent started looking at any yet just wanted to see what the comments.

I will defiantly look out for a n47T then let me start some searching
