HI Guys,
my previous post is stuck in limbo somewhere

my question was - can you add options to your vehicle after it has been purchased.

Like auto hold and extended telephone functionality

auto hold is when you come to a stop and when you release the brake the car remains stationery. you need to engage the accelerator to move again

From what I have read on BMW it looks like it is an optional feature on the 3 series and standard for the 5/7 series.

anyways - Will it be possible to have it fitted now ?

Might be software only. Speak to OBDWorx in the advertiser section

I'm with Ash on this one, all the E90's onwards have this feature as standard. Even my manual M3 has it.

If it's not working, I would have a word with my SA at the dealer.

For extended phone functionality, it depends on the car. In some cases a module needs to change to get this, in other cases it's and FSC code that they load on your HU. The first option will be expensive, the last not so much.

What specific car are we talking about here?
