Accidents happen at home

They happen while you sleep.

My neighbor miraculously piloted his scooter, drunk, all the way back home without incident. Then he elegantly dismounted and fell against my fender, denting it quite well indeed.
How do I know this? CCTV!
He is know to be a d00s in the building and when I first asked him if he knows anything about my car he dismissed me.
Now I have proper evidence and I can't wait to see his face this evening.

If I get my hands on the CCTV clip I will post here. And to FailArmy too. :roflol:

Really, the only thing I'm upset about is my no-claims discount drinking a red bull and f@rking off.

I would take this further... just for the fact he lied to you...

You have a point. He is a douche. If there was no CCTV I would still be scratching my head. What I want is him to pay for the repair outside of Insurance so my discount isn't affected. Will see how he responds to tonight's meeting. If he is still a douche then I'll let my old man's lawyer handle it.

BUT the big thing here is he is caught on CCTV driving drunk.......mmmmm

Take a video of him when showing him the video!

:biglol:

Good Idea  I'll get the missus to 'play' on her phone while I talk to him.

Get a quote on the repair and send him the bill, no need for you to claim via your insurance

That's what I'm leaning towards. Been for a quote this morning - waiting for the email now.

:nonono: Get him to cough up for the repair. This video should be posted on Youtube, I'm sure it would get plenty of hits :roflol:

lay a charge against him

I hope it doesn't come to that.
If, in light of the incriminating video, he admits guilt and apologies and pays for the repair, then I will let him be. If not then I will pass it on to a lawyer.

I mean, you gotta be real fecking stupid to deny video evidence, but then again some people will try anything.

I'm really looking forward to this evening - maybe more than xmas :fencelook:

True bro, gotta stay calm. Don't get me wrong, I had a nuclear fire inside me when I saw the car yesterday. Usual muti of beer and spliff didn't help either. What calmed me was seeing the cctv vid. I was like 'Got you fucker! Falling over the same way you did out of your mother's .....' (sorry mods!)

Really, I'm smiling now and genuinely excited about tonight. Maybe I should polish my 'angry face' Hahahah!

i would rather lay the charge as soon as possible, then decide to drop it later if he agrees to pay. If you have to go to your insurance, they might question why the incident and charge do not correspond with the actual accident.

Sash, I don't get it. What do you mean "they might question why the incident and charge do not correspond with the actual accident."
