Morning Everyone

I traded my //M-Sport E90 323i on a F10 520d a few weeks ago.
Fair to say I am a BMW fan, but not totally blind to any negative comments, my opinion is that the 8-speed ZF is not at all ideal for a Diesel engine.

Especially driving very slow, or very fast, once you are on the open road and in the sweet spot, its really awesome.

Also, while driving on any road surface I notice my headrest shaking/vibrating a bit, even looking at the pax headrest, I noticed this as well. I took the car for wheel balancing/alignment, but still its like this. Surely this can't be the harshness of the diesel engine causing this...

Please give me feedback as to your experiences.

Update - The vibration is a MAJOR issue on F10s all over the world, have a quick google search, so it appears that most people on here are the blind loyalists, ah well, you win some you lose some.

Your car is probably a rebuild or something

I must add that the 6 speed isn't actually good for economy. Have a pre LCi E70 35d with the ZF 6 speed trans, I love the gearbox because of how well it performs, but under normal driving conditions it's not good at all for fuel economy. Sitting at 12.4 in town and will go up to 14 at times, the 8 speeds are averaging 6-8.

Glad we could be of assistance. Thanks for that comment. Next time you need help from the blind loyalists they may not be able to SEE your request.
