Hi Guys

Just need some info and opinions regarding my 335i. A week back my car wouldnt start at all, only wiperblades comes on and cant switch off, have abs, dtc, seatbelt airbag and parkbrake on. Now here is the kicker... dealership came to collect the car and a week and half later cant pin point the electrical or module problem. does it really take this long for a diagnosis cause i think they're mucking me about... or idiots? Anybody had similar problem and or answers.

will appreciate.

Of wiper blades coming on and you can do anythinf else, not even start the car, most likely your battery was run down completely. Charge it up and it should be fine.

Once again, the misnomer that the dealer is the right place to take your car to is propagated. You need to get your car to a reputable diagnostic service provider. We have a few forum sponsors who would be applicable, OBDWorx I can recommend. The battery draw issue can be caused by any one of the various components in your car, with the alternator being a common culprit these days.

This is probably the worst time of the year to have your car in a workshop.
chances are they haven't even gotten your car as yet because of volume of cars needing servicing before the holidays.
also im assuming workshops will be short staffed.
as above , I also ave a gut feeling this may be a battery issue.

Battery was fine bro... I am fighting with dealership now about that because they suspect it was jumpstarted and messed up one or other module, but their guys came with the jumpstart unit. My question then if why dont they replace it if its just that?

My sentiments exactly... spoke to the dealer this morning and asked them how long can a diagnosis take if you have the correct equipment, i think their stalling.
