330i E46 gearbox bushes help needed

Hello fanatics,

I have a 2002 E46 330i manual which needs a new diff bush and gear lever locating bush ( pardon if my terminology is not spot on). Does any one know where in Cape Town I can get this done by a reliable mechanic?

Thanks a lot but since my vehicle has not seen a motor plan in 3 years I prefer to avoid the dealers for cost reasons and have heard way too many bad things about zeemax.

Is there any reliable private mechanics any one knows

Also, Helderberg Auto Tech are independent BMW specialists, very good. But they are in Somerset West.

Thanks guys, will try some of the above. Is it worthwhile replacing the clutch at the same time? The original clutch is still in the car and it's done 143k km

Get them to inspect it while it's booked in, the parts are readily available so buying a new clutch is quick and easy.
