Just to point out and add:

Ash and I advised you via whatsapp of all the common issues and costs involved in buying a BMW. Many minutes where spent helping you.

There was even an open offer to come and drive my car to see if you would like the feel of a 330d.

Andy has helped you... if i scan through the thread, many people are willing to help.

Yet you label us as losers and stupid.

Each to their own i suppose, but seriously uncalled for.

I did the same for this guy too, I even offered him to drive mine to make a choice if a 320d was good enough...funny enough, I also personally sent him this car and even offered to check it out for him...

Low and behold, the oke purchases the car and is happy as a pig in shit thereafter...which is great. I really dont care if I got a thank you or not, but that shows that you were helped even while you were not even part of this community yet.

Andy is one guy who knows no limits to helping anyone, forum or not and looking at your thread he was offering his assistance at anytime.
You them promise to purchase my springs and drop me cold in the water...wasted my time with all commitments to come pick it up and then I see your messages of how happy you are to get maxTrac Coilies...then beg for forgiveness...

Dude, seriously...go trade the 330d in...and go buy yourself a Sportline or something...that car doesnt deserve a person like you.

I was going to offer setting up his INPA using Teamviewer. Rather give it a miss now.

And there's many threads here with guys doing a bit more than topping up their washer fluid :roflol:

Yoh seems I missed something. Martin is a stand up guy and he paid me a visit this afternoon and we shared some stories while working on a project car of mine. I can understand his frustration with the car and will help sending the required file for inpa.

He's also added to the community like we all have. Give him a break.

Seems like people are just out to have drama and draw blood. Ill come back later tomorrow and re read the posts to see what the story is.

Seems to be a common issue these days...

Don't like a forum, have a go on FB at it and hope no one sees it.

Real pity.

Is it common in general or common from a specific clique?

Hi guys

Okay first thing's first, I apologize for my outburst on Facebook, thinking about it now it was stupid of me to make that statement. It is true I've been helped a lot by my friends who I met during my years being a member of the vwcsa. Not to mention new friends like Andy who has been a stand-up guy since day one.

I am saddened that Arbee, Ash and some of my other acquaintances have badmouthed me and shared my moment of anger on a site dedicated to BMW enthusiasts - why not message me first and ask me why I posted the message first? It was obvious what the outcome would be by posting it here.

To clarify, my message was posted in anger and pure frustration, and I'll be the first one to admit that it's because of my very limited background with BMW's. My out-lash was more a general comment brought about by my frustration in acquiring decent information regarding the diagnostics of my car.

Anyone who knows me, knows that everything on my car must be 100% as it should, and after hours and hours of scouring the internet and reading forums trying to figure out what the obscure error codes mean, I was left with absolutely no concrete answers. If I go to the BMW dealership, I ask for advice from the technicians and bluntly get told that I need to book the car in without even listening to my thoughts on cause of the errors. It's just been very frustrating for me.

As for the people jumping on the bandwagon and calling me a douche, and to stick my cheap coilovers (really, you judge my car based on how expensive my mods are??) in my nought, and to crawl back into the hole I came from? That is uncalled for, you do not know me personally.

Ask anybody that knows me personally, and they will tell you how many hours I've spent helping them fix their cars, fitting mods, driving out to their houses at 23:00 at night to help them get their cars running for work the next day, getting up at 4:30 in the mornings, washing my car, driving to events and helping set up the timing equipment, sweeping the roads, packing cones, providing technical advice and assistance etc the whole day, and then go home burnt to a crisp.

I am a car enthusiast before anything else. So please, reserve your comments if you do not know the type of person I am.

So once again, apologies are in order from my side - I hope this hasn't tarnished my reputation going forward, but I guess that's wishful thinking.
