320d 2011 service help

Its been asked and answered I am sure but cannot find a good reply....

I need to service my 320d, What oil is best to use and closest to what the agents use??

With regards to parts is it best to buy them from the agents or buy the GUD parts from autozone?

Oil closest to what the agents use is the castrol magnatec (that the agents use).

I'm a liquimoly fan myself. But with all the top oils it's a much of a muchness. I like liquimoly because they have oil for cars with and without catalytic converters. My cars don't have cats so I run the oil which is for cars without cats which is better for your engine.

I would at the very least use an oem oil filter. But air and cabin filter it's probably much of a muchness.

whats the grade used? and is it a diesel oil?

Just google the oil it has the highest grading on the scale

So it looks like 5w-30 and must be LL01... Sound correct?
