3 Series Facelift changes?

Hi Everyone,

Does anyone know what the changes are that were made to the E90 335 sedan with the facelift? Obviously besides the exterior changes. Were there any tweaks to the engine or gearbox or things like that??

Facelift came out in late 2008. Still had the N54 motor.
It was mostly cosmetic changes.

From what I hear, the newer models have cheaper interior bits such as the sun visor. The single turbo was a recent upgrade, not related to the LCI.

Nope not the case , they also come with the N54 motor in them as well.

From the homework I have done , there were no changes motor wise between LCI 335i vs Non LCI 335i. (N54)

The N54 motor is the one you need to be chasing.

If on the engine cover its says TwinPower that is a N55.

THe Lci looks better but they did cut cost in the interior.... sunvisors are cheap looking, rear centre armrest dont have cupholders, no storage nets behind the front seats...

The N54 should be slightly better, but you pay at the pumps. The N54 is also the one you want if you going to "tune" it. It has more potential.

Performance is rated the same ... 225kw, althou the N54 is regarded as a better base for tuning!

Mine is a 2010 model and a N54..

And yes if it says twin power it means N55 Twin Scroll SINGLE turbo...

This that you talk off is the storage pack...sucks they didnt have it anymore!
