Well done bro!

Your car is proper strong for a stock'er and has the looks to go with.. Time for a DP and flash, so you can rule them all :tiptoe: :roflol:

Thanks bru, yours is extremely neat!

Definitely planning on more power soon, but also owning an N46 doesn't help much :smilebounce:

Thanks bro!

Pretty impressed with the performance on the dyno... Expected much less, TBH... :fencelook:

I can tell you from my 2c, owning 2 older BMW's means you need more disposable cash... Also doesn't help when you are as impatient as I am to do everything at once :roflol:

So the car developed some pink eye, replaced both bulbs with Philips D1S replacements. After which the service light immediately turned on :hammerhead:

Booked the car in at Supertech BMW and took advantage of the oil change special as well as a brake fluid flush which was due.

Then my good friend James from Branix media was down in Durbs and took some time so chill / take some shots of my car...

So this past weekend was roadtrip time :smilebounce:

The route > DBN - JHB - Nelspruit - DBN, all in all really pleased with the way the car drove as well as the fuel economy.

dGw6Hdo.jpg

Mileage milestone reached when I entered JHB, also awesome fuel economy.
1qPQVIx.jpg

Some epic driving roads heading to Nelspruit, unfortuantely the car was fully loaded with mostly the wife's luggage so I could really push :dunnoanymore:

My Alpine Brown E90 :smilebounce:

On the way back, 340km from first click to 3/4 tank :praise:

Unfortunately the wife wasn't feeling so great during the trip home so fuel economy went out the window...

When we arrived back home, it was clear that a deep clean would be required to return the car to the state it was in before
BbXu8nC.jpg

So Saturday the work began!

Front end on jack stands, wheels removed in preparation for a wheel arch deep clean.

Before condition :cthulhu:

Arches were presoaked with a strong APC solution, before being agitated with various brushes and tools, they were pressure washed and this stage was repeated until the desired level of cleanliness was reached...

It was then time to focus on the front wheels

Clearly very dirty
SzFsEXl.jpg

ClfPkRG.jpg

They were rinsed and washed thoroughly with Auto Finesse Imperial 1:1, and then sprayed down with iron out which was left to dwell.

After rinsing, the wheels were treated with Auto Finesse Oblitarate to remove the tar deposits as well as old wheel weight residue.

After

Wheels were then given some protection with Auto Finesse Mint Rims

This process took a little longer than intended so I could not remove the rear wheels due to time constraints, still did what I could while they were on though. I'll have to schedule this for next weekend hopefully. The car was then given a thorough wash before I could actually recognise it again :blowheart:

Thanks guys :blowheart:

"Little" things make a big difference to the overall appearance of a car. The key is to not let these things pile up...
