2009 E92 Oil Top Up

Hi Guys,

This might be a silly question, but my car a 2009 E92 320i is displaying that the oil needs to be topped up.

I take it that this is not covered by the motorplan?

and do i have to take to BMW for a top up (warranty issues), or can i just buy the oil and do it myself?

Damn, the e9x all have the funny electronic oil level check thinger.

topping up oil will definitely not be covered by your motorplan, BMW will happily do it for you though, and charge you labour for it maybe just speak to your service advisor, maybe they will be nice and do it for free

UPDATE - followed your advise freerider, went to BMW was nice to the service advisor and they did it for free :thumbsup:

Sometimes they are nice, other times they dont use KY.
