This is a great buy! My dad had one of those and he still believes that it's the BMW with the best ride comfort/handling combination he's ever owned. Handles like a much smaller car, pulls strong and sounds great. Amazing seats with an awesome sound system etc...

The low mileage does concern me though. Why has this car been standing for so long?

I would still not buy it... For that price you can get a decent facelift with relatively low mileage.

Think of it this way:

With only 9 000km, you can drive this car every day for 3 years, then it would still have under 30 000km on the odo and the best part is, you can then sell it for the same price!

Free miles dude!

Why would anyone buy a car and not use it?
Its like getting a willing girlfriend/wife and doing self service instead.
You paying money for it, only to let it waste away :thumbdo:

Nah, not in my life. Three years worth of driving for me is around 75k km. And then that car is not much more worth than the rest of them from the same year... 80 to 100k.

Plus, the new 7 is coming out soon. These pre-facelifts are going to hit rock bottom in price within the next year or so. You'll pick up a 745i for like 50k.

Car looks to be in showroom condition...

There is always a reason for low mileage, not all 7ers are used daily.

Awesome car this!!

You can already pick pre-facelift 745's up for less than R60k. The facelifts are still holding value for now, but they will begin slipping as soon as the new one is out. As for the F01...I would stick with my E65 any day.

Also, lets do the math... 9000km over 11 years equals 818km per year, which comes to less than 70km per month. No matter how one tries to rationalize that it just does not make sense.
