Yeah running on 5 cylinders. Smoke coming out the port is perhaps valves not closing properly. It also took a long time to start. You can try to remove the injector and use the camera to check what's going on inside that cylinder.

yeah will also remove the tappet cover again and check if all the stems of the valves are the same height, might be able to check if there is a bent valve. The turbo also sounded strange to me.

I fitted the intake manifold and boost pipes and tried to go for a short drive (400m) and the car was extremely low on power, stalled it 2ce trying to reverse out of the garage and it sounds and smells not good :(

oh yeah it only took long to start the first time, probably because of air in the fuel system from removing it. started instantly the 2nd time.

i would suggest doing a compression test. easiest way to do this is via the glow plugs. I wouldn't suggest removing the injectors unless you really have to!

I wouldn't start it anymore and start stripping to identify whats broke in fear something else breaks.
