WILL IT INCREASE FUEL CONSUMPTION?
ARE THERE ANY POWER GAINS?
ANYBODY DID IT ON THE SAME CAR?

Is that the N46 Motor? If so. if you do it, make sure to install an extra box. The noisy gets a bit much.

JUST GOT BACK FROM POWERFLOW, TO REMOVE MY CAT AND INSTALL A STAINLESS STEEL SILENCER R550, THEY SAY I WONT NEED A "MINI CAT" IF I DO THAT WILL BE AN EXTRA R750

ANY IDEA WHERE I CAN GET A PERFORMANCE FILTER FROM?

Replace the cat with straight pipe first, then if you like it good if not then get a small box fitted

The wife has a 2004 318i and it has a round filter.

I heard it doesnt sound nice with a straight pipe so im putting in a freeflow silencer. Is your car lighter or heavier on petrol now?
