Soo... I see I never posted on here either
Well The car has been good to me albeit not used. Well hardly used. This is a bit of a mothball case as It's only driven when I'm home.
Since the last updates I've changed the shocks with Bilstein B6's as well as replacing the top shock mounts.
The exhaust is 100% Stock now. Although the aftermarket one sounded quite nice and saved some weight I wanted to keep one M3 completely OEM for future resale value.
The stock backbox I actually sourced a while back from a CSL. Initially the plan was to fit it to the white M3 but since the White one is the one I use a lot more and it already has some mods on it, I fitted it here.
The oil level sensor/temp sensor was acting a little strange in that it wouldn't show the oil temp until the car was on temperature. Hence the warmup (shift) lights went out quicker than what they supposed to.
Bought an OEM sensor from BMW for around R2200.
The strut brace is fitted as can be seen and the usual valve clearances and vanos rebuild was done from the spare stock I keep nowadays.
The undertray covers were missing some screws which were fitted and most importantly OEM CSL wheels were fitted.
Pics to follow...
