Fact is its got the 4wd and won't lose it so it is what it is. But 1m definitely my choice.

Jokes aside, these two are very evenly matched in straight line speed. But around the track driven by an experienced driver, the 1M is 99% of the time quicker around the track.:thumbs:

I'm not an audi fan, but my buddy has a TTRS(same motor as the RS3) and that 5pot makes a beautiful noise...

Straight line speed is not everything. The car has to talk to you and give feedback when driven hard. The Audi RS3 is an awesome car and the best for the average driver. The 1M on the other hand is a real driver's car and you need serious talent to exploit it to it's fullest potential.
I haven't driven an RS3 yet, so can only comment on what I have read and seen on video clips.

I never meant future RS3s but the current one being 4wd and should be judged on what it is and not on what it could or will be.:=):

This is my thing, there are only a hand full of people that can really extract that 3 seconds in a lap. Not to mention robot to robot and say through a mountain pass.

I just think in the real world the RS3 will be quicker.

Doesnt make it the better car though, I dont think there can really be a winner with cars so evenly matched, different strokes.

1M cracks that 5 pot 4.25 seconds quicker around Kyalami. My M3 DCT was doing those times the 1M is now almost 5 seconds quicker than my M3 so i can extract the lap times and will only do it in a M car. Audi is brilliant though but 5-7 hot laps its stuffed from heat soak where the 1M still goes on and on and on..........

So you driving around and you have a smile on your face cos you stepped the rear out safely using the M Dynamic feature wonder what that Audi driver is doing.......:fishwack:

BMW 1M R530 000 - R750 000 ( Depends who is selling)

There isn't much in that, what's the mileage on the BMW, could be much higher than the Audi, a few thousand makes a difference, on a different note, the 1M instrument cluster looks so old and dated compare to the Audi which is also based on the old A3, much nicer interior on the Quattro, sorry guys!

Would love to own either of them though, kings of their respective castle's...
