Sorry I just don't get some can run low 13's at ODI with a STOCK 135, my best was a 14.0 on 95 pump fuel. I didn't deflate my tires or anything else that would affect my pull away. My reaction time on all my runs that day was also good.

I just don't get it.. I ran against 2 stock 335's the past month and was a tiny bit faster then they were.

I don't know if anyone here can hear me or maybe the microphone is off here. We are talking about a manual. Not an auto. Which for drag racing makes a huge difference. There is no manual in the country. In the whole of this country that has run faster than 13.1 on street tyres. At an official event. Sure put your vbox and run down William nicol & I run 9 seconds in my M3. But no-one has gone to a drag strip in a manual and run faster than 13.1 on street tyres. Maybe Mojojo has done it, but that's not a manual.

Its cos everyone that runs drags hides a bit of the truth.
Car was not stripped out, ok could not see that cos your tint was so dark.
95 pump fuel in the car we running, i suppose that smell from the exhaust is the cats then that smell the same as Race gas? Car is stock exhaust?
Road tyres
Running stock boost, i guess then there is a budgie under your wagons bonnet screaming murder like a whinning boosted turbo.
These are just a few good ones i have seen and heard.

So true..

Ok time for a time slip..Busy with a manual 135i, let's see how she does at Mtuba and since 135i got no M3 diff like 1M then we running semi's so that makes it even:=):....Ok, will run it with BS REO50....tune only

Yeah that's a good idea. Our manual ran 12.7 down there.

Up here the turbos lose a lot of power as they too small. But will run the 1M with slicks soon.

battle of the tuners :bravo:

initially i was so keen on running a flash, i loaded it and the numbers were sad, all i can say from my experience is that jb4 is the shit and with the right set up 12.7 will be achievable.

Thats so true, i raced (illegal) one of a famous tuners car over the fasting month, a 135i ''stock'' only to find out later it had DP, intercooler, meth, and fgas, now really, plus i was standard at the time......

How can a tuner's car be stock? Why would you believe that? Was it the tuner's personal car that he said was stock? Just a but of advice if you gonna' be racing, don't believe anyone when they say their car is stock.

We have been doing this for 15 years and have learnt the hard way many years ago that the only way is full disclosure. The racing scene is small and everyone knows each other & they gonna' find out what you have anyway. So actually all the tuner's I know are open and honest and disclose the mods. Some of the owners, especially the younger guys try to be macho & say there car is stock when it's not. But when you racing long enough is easy to see & hear which cars are really stock.

Back on topic, we ran 12.7 with our manual 135, and up here at PDI our record is 12.5. We will be running the 1M with slicks soon and hope to run in the 12's.
