1995 E36 325i cabriolet problems

Hey Fanatics

I need to know the following....

1) What should one look out for when buying a 1995 E36 325i cabriolet?

2) What are the chronic problems that plague this model?

3) Does it have a manual or electric/ auto roof?

4) What is the street value of one of these? (This might be a "How long is a piece of string" question I know)

I would assume a full Dekra technical check would be advisable before buying.

Thanks in advance.

Electric roof
The engines are solid on them.
Good condition ones goes around 60k.
The only downfall I've experienced is the bodyroll .

Thanks bro, I don't mind the body roll as it will not be a speedster but rather a cruiser.

Good luck finding a clean one. It takes time. Check the tappet cover gasket. Oil leaks into the spark plug wells. A lot of them have leaky roofs. I was lucky to find one without leaks. The original rear windscreen fades and cracks. The bands in the roof lose their tension and the roof needs to be assisted. There are 2 types of roof. semi-auto and full-auto.
