135i clutch problem?!

Hi guys... A friend of a friend has a 135i. As far as I know it's a 2008. So probably N54. He's pretty fed up with the car. He had problems with coils, camshaft, injectors, solenoid valves, programming, etc. But all was sorted under motorplan. It went in 8 times while under motorplan. Seems as if most of the issues is sorted..for now.

Now he's on 109 000km and the clutch has gone, apparently not the first time. Stealers quoted him R22 500 for a new clutch. What should he do?

He's in the Western Cape as far as I know. Anyone have some advise as to who he should contact or a better dealer he can try and use?

Are these cars prone to giving a lot of clutch issues?

to be honest if my car had given me all those hassles it would already be history.

I agree. Also owning a car like that out of motorplan or any other aftermarket warranty is a bit silly. Not worth the chance.
