135i Broken Brackets on Xenon Lights

Hi all

I am unsure if this has been brought up in other threads but I would like to bring to the attention of all 135i owners, to notice the mounting brackets onto the xenon headlights. I have found mine (135i N55 manual) on both head lights were broken and I have not been in any accident and owned the car from brand new. What was even more strange is that there were two other 135i that I had looked at which also had similar defects.

Upon taking it up with BMW, they insisted that a third party BMW assessor (not from the dealership) evaluate it. This lead to a decision of the entire xenon light to be replaced at a heafty price. Of which i am told the motor plan might not cover because they have indicated that I might be responsible for damaging it. Just wanna know if anyone else has noticed something similiar on their vehicle?

My brackets are also broken on my Xenons, when driving along, you can actually see the beams bounce up and down a little bit.

I need to make a plan and Q-bond mine too, or Pratley putty
