Nice Project.

What fuel do you intend using? What back end flash are you thinking about using?

For fuel I intend on using pump fuel with either Eth or NF added. Depending on which gives the best results.

As for the back en flash, once we start tuning we'll play around and see which is best. Leon is the brains in that dept. I'm sure the latest BT firmware will be best.

A buddy of mine completed this build a few months ago on his 335i with great success.
Here's a link to his build:

Hi George

Thanks for the offer, I should have mentioned that the preparations have already been done.
I did the carbon clean with Marchand about a month ago.

So the hairdryers are out. Measurements are done for the new cooler, and Leon is starting the fab of the new manifold.

Welcome to the club:cartel:
Given the work that's going to be done on this car I estimate around 600whp up here.

Here's a few teasers.

Wastegate

Meth kit

DV

I've also decided to add a larger custom radiator to the build. Heat is a big concern especially in the 1'er. I think the oil cooler and radiator upgrades should handle that.

Leon got stock of the Snow performance meth kits. I've decided to go for the Snow instead of the AEM kit.

I'm also having a 2-step relay installed for the JB and the BMS cdv.

Old intercooler next to the new one.

:clapper: this is going to be awesome looking forward to this build.

Thanks bro! The excitement is killing me.

Things were going a bit slow this week. The guys fabricating the flanges for the new manifold were taking a bit long.
Turbo cores are ready, and with the flanges in hand Leon can test fit the manifold and see how much space we have to work with to spec the turbo housings.

Once all of that is done the build will really take off. Charge piping can be done along with the intercooler and the downpipe.

I'm having the exhaust manifold ceramic coated as well as the charge piping to try and keep things as cool, and cold :sorry: as possible. The turbo is getting a blanket.

the E92 radiator has a bigger core than the E82 and is a direct fit.

Thanks for the advice bud, but the radiator has already gone out for the custom one to get fabricated.
