Hi Guys,
As most of you know this car was recently up for sale and I'm proud to say that I'm the new owner of it :inlove: :smilebounce:
It's my first BMW and I don't think I couldn't have went for a better buy. The value for money that that this car offers is amazing!
Wayne was very helpful and pleasant throughout the whole purchase and I will definitely deal with him again. This was more than just a sale, I've actually made a new friend :smilebounce:

besides the 320d being such an awesome package, dealing with Wayne was an absolute pleasure. all the paperwork was pre printed and ready to sign.
in addition we received a file detailing all the work carried out and he efficiently transferred the warranty over to Anees' name.

ps. i thought my Tsi was fuel efficient until i drove the mighty D

How I miss her
Hi Guys,
Haven't updated this thread in a very long time
The 320d is still with me and I'm still enjoying every moment with it. It is such a great all round car
I purchased the 320d from Wayne at the end of September 2019 with 154500km. Two years later, the car now has 222500km on and has never skipped a beat.
I've just been carrying out regular maintenance on the car and it still looks and drives great
Definitely a car that I still see myself keeping for a long time ❤️

Vehicle Update - 247 xxx km
I feel like I've been neglecting this thread. Haven't updated it in quite some time
Motor & Drivetrain
Vehicle is currently sitting on 247xxx km and hasn't skipped a beat. Regular maintenance is being carried out with oil services taking place every 10 000km. All parts are sourced from Kavi at AutoTechLight and are OEM replacement parts. The oil used is always Motul 8100 X-cess and filters are usually Mann or Blue Print. Services are carried out by myself as of last year as I have access to a lift when needed.
I recently replaced the diff oil as well using Liqui Moly 75w-90. I would like to get the car to ZF to give the box a check again as the last time it was there was when Wayne still owned the vehicle. Box however is still silky smooth with no issues that I can feel.
I have a EGR blank off kit laying in the garage with I bought from Danny a while back as well as a new damper pulley which I got from Deago for a good price. Damper on the car is still in good condition so will just hold onto the new one for a bit before fitting.
The car has a new Raylite battery that was fitted in September 2020 so hopefully it will still run strong for a while
Exterior
I had a little hit and run situation last month. Someone reversed into my right fender and fled the scene. Luckily it wasn't anything major. There was just a slight dent which my insurance sorted out for me. The dent was popped and fender resprayed. While the vehicle was in, I had all hail dents popped as well
Planning on giving the car a detail soon just to keep the paint well maintained as there's no plans of selling anytime soon. Rims will also need a respray sometime this year as they are showing signs of pitting. Thinking of doing a DIY but not sure if I'm prepared to tackle a spray job myself yet.
Interior
The E90 interior is holding up surprisingly well. When compared to my X3, the E90 is far better. The seats are still in quite a good condition with no major signs of wear. A little leather cleaner and conditioner every now and then goes a long way. My steering is quite faded and has some damage on the top but that is expected with the current mileage.
The only issue that I had was the one cup holder refusing to open and the driver side glove compartment not staying closed anymore. Both were easily fixed by watching a Youtube video. I added rubber bands to the fix so that they don't open and close so harshly though.
Summary
The E90 is an absolute gem of a vehicle for me and I have no desire of changing it anytime soon. The combination of looks, comfort, economy and performance is superb for me and I don't think there's many cars that can compete with it. As much as I love driving my X3, the E90 320d is also very special to me
I plan on maintaining it as best as I can and look forward to hitting the 300 000km milestone with it soon
